About Me

Music has always been my main passion, but the turning point that made it my life choice was when I discovered Bach at 21 years old. Bach and my first composition teacher guided me to the decision to study music composition at the conservatory in Italy. My international vocation led me to study in Greece and Portugal with the Erasmus program, and the wish to collaborate with other artists and musicians brought me to a place that felt right for that, which is Berlin where I’ve been living for the past six years.
My path as a musician in Berlin has been challenging, but over these years I’ve had the chance to work with musicians, film directors, dancers, improv theater groups, and clowns. I have composed music and created sound design for several independent films in Berlin (around 20 short films and one feature), as well as for a few music theater productions. I have also performed live music and sound for improv theater shows, dance performances and clown acts. What I’ve enjoyed the most about these experiences is the dialogue with other artists, which has always helped us grow together.
In my work, I like to mix contrasting elements such as singable, enjoyable melodies with noise and concrete sound effects. When the project allows it, I like to do this in a funny and ironic way. Since moving to Berlin, I’ve become passionate about synths and electronic music, but I still love writing and studying scores and my favorite composer will always be Bach.
