Live music for improv theater

In 2025, a very important journey began in my life: I started doing improv theater with the group Berlino Italia Improv, which also turned out to need a musician. So I discovered one of my favorite things to do as a musician: improvising music for their shows (with keyboard and computer, sometimes guitar). Later I also got to play for other groups from the Berlin improv scene.

ostravaganza

Ostravaganza

Excerpts from the feature film “Ostravaganza” (2020-2022), on which I worked as composer and sound designer with director Martin Miotk and Opera Lab Berlin. The film was screened at BAM! Festival 2022 in Berlin and streamed online at sooner.de and Amazon Prime Video (Germany). All videos are by the director and by the video editor Andrea Bonetti.

Swan Lake Avantgardee (excerpt)

Combination of elements of the Swan Lake with experimental improvisational sounds. Written for a dancing scene of the movie, with:

Touch of water

Soundtrack and sound design for the short film by Anya Tan, Berlin 2023-2024. The film explores a perception of the self through relationships. A protagonist drifts between two realities, which gradually intertwine. Selected at Independent Days International Filmfestival in Karlsruhe 2025

Concert pieces

Examples of instrumental pieces I wrote while studying composition ad the conservatory. Even if I haven’t done similar projects in Berlin yet, what I learned in these experiences was crucial for everything I did after.

Le domande di Aldo (Aldo’s questions)

For saxophone quartet and electronics.
This piece is the representation of a prize game where the players are getting crazy trying to guess the questions. The tape is leading and presenting the game and the saxophone players are the participants. They don’t know who Aldo is and where this game is coming from, they just go crazy every time a new question arrives.
